Objectives This subject should enable students to express themselves in a variety of topics in both speaking and writing. The reading component aims to improve comprehension as well as accent and accuracy of spoken Thai.
Synopsis The speaking component deals with a similar range of topics to beginner's Thai however, students will be able to express themselves more completely and naturally. The reading component expands exceptions and irregularities in reading rules. Reading skills and dictionary skill at this point means that students will be able to undertake significant self-study. The reading content focuses on Thai life and culture. Students will write compositions on topics introduced in the reading component.
Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 40%
* Oral
examination: 30%
* Classwork, assignments: 30%
