Objectives To give students an understanding of the application and interpretation of various multivariate data analysis techniques.
Synopsis An interesting selection of multivariate techniques and procedures are studied, for example distance measures, cluster analysis, multidimensional scaling, discriminant analysis, canonical correlation and multiway frequency table analysis using log-linear models. BMDP and SPSS are used extensively.
