Objectives To extend the students' knowledge of experimental design and analysis so that they become familiar with most commonly used experimental designs.

Synopsis This subject is a continuation of `Design and analysis of experiments I'. Trend analysis in one-way ANOVA. Power of ANOVA. Factorial analysis. Simple main and interaction effects. Fixed, random and mixed effects models. EMS rules. Analysis of covariance. Nested and nested-factorial designs. Computing packages used throughout.

Assessment Three assignments: 30%
* Examination (1.5 hours): 70%
