* Prerequisites: Current enrolment in or completion of a Level C Japanese language course

Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should feel at ease in approaching a variety of Japanese everyday texts, be able to read for content and meaning with pleasure and fluency, have gained the ability to use Japanese dictionaries for reading, and be familiar with grammar patterns used in everyday communication.

Assessment (4 points) Examination (2 hours): 60%
* Assignments and weekly exercises: 40%
Assessment (6 points) Examinations (2 hours): 50%
* Assignments weekly exercises: 50%
