Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students will have developed an understanding of the nature of different styles in the Indonesian language, of the importance of register, and the use of specialist vocabularies, as used in particular fields.
Synopsis Use is made of materials taken from the fields of journalism, business, law, science and technology, as well as the idiom of the bureaucracy. Visits are made to locations where these can be found in action, such as a court of law.
Assessment Two progress tests: 30%
