Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to determine appropriate structural systems for a range of common interior projects; undertake basic calculations to test their validity; detail the application of the systems for construction.

Synopsis This subject investigates structural systems and their components applied in a range of common interior and small scale architecture projects. Students focus on methods of calculating structural integrity and detailing structural systems for construction.

Assessment Examination: 20%
