Digital audio/video 2

Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should have further developed their understanding and skills in the area of digital video/audio; have completed a series of exercises and project work; have used a variety of software applications in the creation, development, editing/enhancement, and production of their digital video/audio project; have experience in acquiring/recording footage for the project; be able to incorporate stills as graphics/titles within the digital AV project; be able to undertake more advanced processes available in digital AV production.

Synopsis In the course of this unit students are required to conceive and script/storyboard a concept, record original footage, design and produce stills and titles, assemble and edit content, and output their project in a variety of formats/media ie VS tape and Quicktime Movies. Requirements and specifications for various media are explored and discussed. Students produce at least two digital AV projects, within at least one of these will be given the opportunity to explore and experiment with both concept and techniques

Assessment Journal/Workbook: 30%
