Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to initiate, develop and express individual, conceptual and aesthetic responses; be able to plan and manage individual work practice and research objectives; understand how to apply existing technologies in new contexts; be proficient in applying health and safety procedures associated with studio practice; have an ability to make informed aesthetic judgements about the character and quality of their work; develop confidence to express a strong individual concern through an appropriate visual language.

Synopsis In consultation with lecturers, students assume responsibility for their individual study program that continues to develop and expand their personal concerns. The program encourages students to develop a personal, informed approach to their practice. Carefully conceived and clearly articulated ideas are linked directly to conclusive outcomes.
