Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should confidently use a range of methods to interpret their designs in kiln-formed glass; have an in-depth understanding of firing techniques and kiln use to manipulate glass; be able to critically assess their own and others work, technically and aesthetically; be able to complete two and three-dimensional glass forms from designs using appropriate kiln-forming methods.

Synopsis As the last in a sequence of a three-elective specialisation in kiln-formed glass, this subject culminates in the production of glass formed objects of a high level of conceptual and technical competence. Studio sessions concentrate on the interpretation of students' individual ideas and assist them to interpret designs using innovative and traditional methods. The fortnightly seminar focuses on the issues critical to students projects.
