Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to interpret original designs using a range of traditional and experimental techniques in glass painting; recognise the essential relationships between glass and architecture; be able to select glasses, colours and painting styles at appropriate architectural locations; confidently present and defend their interpretations of designs into glass.

Synopsis This subject extends the knowledge presented in APA2417. Students explore a wider range of techniques and encouraged to develop a personal approach to architectural glass design. Studio sessions and demonstrations introduce experimental techniques while seminars encourage critical appraisal of current issues in glass.
