Lost property

BER

Lost property should be handed in at the reception desk.
CAU/PFR
All lost property found on campus should be handed to the student services offices on either campus. If the owner can be identified, contact is made by phone or letter, but the onus is upon the owner to contact student services. Lost property which remains unclaimed for a period of two months is sent to MUSU where it is sold or auctioned. The proceeds go to MUSU funds.
CLA
Lost property is usually handed to the Union information desk. Clothing is kept for four weeks; other items for six weeks. Unclaimed items are generally given to charities.
GIP
Lost property found on the campus should be handed to the administrative reception area.
PAR
Lost property found on the campus should be handed in at reception, ground floor, Sissons building.
Students are advised that private property is not covered by university insurance. Monash University, therefore, is not liable for loss of, or damage to, the property of students on campus.
