Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to develop an understanding of the structures and the characteristics of Japanese political economy, Japanese behavioural patterns in their society, the current issues facing the Japanese economy and politics, and some recent small changes in Japanese economy and the political attitudes towards the future and the global society.
Synopsis This subject will provide students with the opportunity to acquire advanced skills of Japanese through focusing on the organisation and functions of modern Japanese institutions, mainly economic, administrative and political.
