Prerequisites: BA in Japanese with Monash post-level D Japanese or equivalent
Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to develop an understanding of Japanese business organisation and the characteristics of Japanese companies overseas. In particular, students should be familiar with the administrative perspectives of Japanese companies and the current activities and issues of Japanese companies in Australia
Synopsis This subject provides students with advanced reading skills of Japanese as well as knowledge of the operation of Japanese companies in Australia. Representative areas such as tourism, finance, manufacturing and trade are covered.
Assessment Written (3000 words): 40%
