The business environment is a global, complex and, sometimes, uncertain one. A good leader is a person who understands this changing environment, incorporates emerging leadership treads and adopts transferrable management skills to harness the changes and get the best out of their people. To manage and lead in business today, you need a holistic understanding of contemporary issues and contexts. This specialisation focuses on leadership, innovation and communication in a cross-cultural, multifaceted environment. You will gain an understanding of managing diversity and inclusion, and you will learn how to shape your management and negotiation skills for today's global workplace.

  • MGF5130 Managing diversity and inclusion
  • MGF5640 Cross-cultural management communication
  • MGF5610 People management and work in a global context or MGF5020 Business ethics in a global environment*
  • MGF5928 Strategic leadership
  • MGF5630 Principles of negotiation
  • MGF5600 Managing innovation or MGF5690 Services and operations management

*From 2020, students will be required to complete MGF5020.

Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
