Radiation therapy involves the use of ionising radiation in the treatment of patients with cancer and benign conditions. In your radiation therapy studies at Monash you will gain knowledge and understanding of the scientific concepts and principles underpinning radiation therapy including patient care, optimisation of equipment, quality assurance and the biological consequences of ionising and non-ionising medical radiations.
