Description

Graduates may work in the areas of training and development, recruitment and selection, occupational health and safety, in private companies, or government departments.

Units

To complete the Human resource management major in the Bachelor of Commerce, students must complete:

(a.) Six units from the following list (36 points):

  • MGC1010 Introduction to management
  • MGC1020 Organisations: Contexts and strategies
  • MGC2230 Organisational behaviour
  • MGC2410 Industrial relations, or MGC2420 Employee relations
  • MGC2430 Human resource management
  • MGC3420 Human resource development, or MGC3430 International human resource management, or MGX3441 Human resource strategy

(b.) two units (12 points) from the following list or units from (a.) not previously completed:
