Synopsis

Stability:

1. Chemical stability - rate processes and rate constants, complex reactions, physicochemical effects on rates, pH rate profiles, hydrolysis of esters and amides, epimerization, dehydration, oxidation, photolysis;
2. Physical stability - water absorption, non-chemical loss, transitions of crystalline state, particle size changes.

Assessment

final exam (2.5 hours): 100%

PSC1071 (or VPS1071) Physical chemistry I
