Arts sequences offered at Berwick include:
- behavioural studies
- film and television studies
- public relations
- international studies
- journalism
- psychology.
Alternatively, students select a sequence of arts units taught at one of the other campuses of the university. Students who opt for this alternative should note that it will involve travelling to another campus to attend lectures, and close attention will need to be paid to the lecture timetable.

Requirements
Students must complete the following:
(a.) a major in communications (48 points)
(b.) a first-year sequence in one of:
- visual culture - VSA1000 Introduction to visual culture: Back to the future and VSA1010 Contemporary visual culture)
- film and television studies - FTV1010 Contemporary television studies and FTV1050 Contemporary film studies
(c.) a minor in an arts discipline (24 points)
(d.) additional arts studies (12 points)
Students must complete a total of 96 points from arts.
Students complete a minimum of 36 points at a third-year level (across the duration of the degree).
No more than 10 units (60 points) are to be completed at a first-year level.
