Objectives
Structure
Students must complete all of the following:
- a major in performance or composition
- a minor in performance
- a major in one other stream, ie composition, musicology or ethnomusicology
- additional units from music or the humanities and social science disciplines.

Requirements
Students must complete:
- a minimum of 36 points at third-year level
- no more than 10 units (60 points) at a first-year level.
Performance major
Students complete the following:
(a.) a performance major (54 points)
(b.) a second music major in one of composition or musicology/ethnomusicology (54 points)
(c.) a performance minor (24 points)
(d.) another first-year-level sequence (12 points)
Composition major
Students complete the following:
(a.) a composition major (54 points)
(b.) a combined major sequence in composition and musicology/ethnomusicology (54 points)
(c.) a performance minor (24 points)
(d.) another first-year-level sequence (12 points)
