Knowledge gained from the course will provide graduates with the skills to lead their companies through the internationalisation process. The course is also relevant for those who seek career advancement in the public, inter-governmental and non-profit sectors, and others who wish to extend their skills in the analysis and interpretation of the global business environment. Credit for prior studiesCandidates articulating from an executive certificate, graduate certificate or graduate diploma in the Department of Management will be eligible for credit for a maximum of eight units (48 points) for study undertaken in the last five years. Other candidates may be eligible for credit for a maximum of four units (24 points) if previous study is considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study. Credit is restricted to study undertaken in the last five years and must be approved by the program manager. Course structure(a) Students must complete six core units (36 points):

(ii) four units (24 points) from (i) above or other units taught by the Department of Management, or (iii) in place of up to two electives students may enrol in unit(s) taught by other departments from the Faculty of Business and Economics, or other faculties of Monash University. It is recommended that students consult with the course director to ensure their elective units form a coherent study program. Students should complete four 9000-level graduate units before commencing 5000-level units. A minimum of four 5000-level units must be studied. * Students who have not completed undergraduate degrees in business are strongly encouraged to complete these units.
