It provides a sound general knowledge of the international business environment and applies management theory and practice for the development of managerial competencies in a cross-cultural context. Credit for prior studiesCandidates articulating from an executive certificate or graduate certificate in the Department of Management will be eligible for credit for a maximum of four units (24 points) for study undertaken in the last five years. Other candidates may be eligible for credit for a maximum of two units (12 points) if previous study is considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study. Credit is restricted to study undertaken in the last five years and must be approved by the program manager. Course structure(a) Students must complete four core units (24 points):

It is recommended that students consult with the course director to ensure their elective units form a coherent study program. Students should complete four 9000-level units before commencing 5000-level units. * Students who have not completed undergraduate degrees in business are strongly encouraged to complete these units. ArticulationStudents who complete the Graduate Diploma in International Business may apply for admission to the Master of International Business and would be eligible for credit for eight units.
