This course is suitable for both native and non-native speakers of Japanese. Graduates should be able to operate as consecutive interpreters and translators at a high level of generalist professional competence. Graduates should also gain knowledge and understanding of the professional aspects of interpreting and translation and an advanced knowledge of theoretical concerns relevant to studies of interpreting and translation. Minimum pass gradeTo graduate with the Masters, students must gain a credit (60 C) or above in core units and a minimum credit average overall. Course structureStudents complete 72 points, including five core units totalling 48 points and 24 points of electives chosen from the following list:* * All units are worth 12 points unless otherwise stated.
