Synopsis: Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act and Regulations. Uniform scheduling of poisons. Control of standards of foods, food manufacturing premises. Food Standards Code. Problem definition. Steps in product development. Project initiation. Development planning. Project management and control.
Objectives: Students will develop an: - Understanding of the controls over poisons, the regulationis controlling the food industry, and project planning and management. - Ability in team approaches to problem solve and to apply poisons regulations and food regulations.
