Caulfield Second semester 2006 (On-campus)
Synopsis: Topics include the preparation and presentation of cases and submissions before industrial relations and other administrative tribunals; negotiation and administration of the collective agreement. Issues dealt with include grievance and disciplinary procedures; unfair dismissals; strategy and tactics in industrial negotiations; management and union rights; drafting the collective agreement.
Assessment: Individual assignment (2500 words): 30% + Individual assignment (1500 words): 20% + Group presentation (Moot case): 20% + Individual assignment (2500 words): 30%

Prerequisites: MGX9180, MGX9220 and must have passed four 9000-level units
