Synopsis: In this unit, students will undertake a review of literature related to previous studies and/or professional aspirations arising from Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Recreation/ Bachelor of Education units. The review of literature will synthesize existing scholarship or reports and discussions. Students will develop a proposal under the guidance and support of the unit coordinators in units already established.

Objectives: Upon successful completion of this unit students will have developed research planning skills to identify and research a problem or need; be involved in, and take ownership of a project of their own choosing that will enhance their professional development; write a high quality paper related to the focus of the study chosen.

Assessment: Assignment (1500 words): 25% + Report (4000 words): 75%
