Synopsis: The student is expected to acquire knowledge about the connectionist paradigm of computation embodied in the topic of neural computing through exposure to the biological algorithmic, control application and VLSI/photonic implementation aspects of the subject.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Laboratory and assignment work: 30%
Contact Hours: 26 lectures, 26 hours of practice classes and laboratory classes
Prerequisites: ECE2702 or CSE1303
