The course gives graduates the training necessary to conduct independent high-quality research in either business or academic settings, cultivates analytical and critical skills, and an awareness of emerging developments in business. The course is particularly suited to those who may wish to undertake further study at the higher degree level. The mode of offering varies between departments, and students should consult the department with which they are enrolled for honours. The management stream must be studied full-time by on-campus attendance. Entry requirementsA bachelors degree from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants need to have attained a minimum average grade of 65% in the relevant disciplines in the final two years of undergraduate studies for consideration. Course structureAreas of studyThe degree offers selected students the opportunity for specialised study in banking and finance, management, marketing (subject to faculty board approval) or taxation at an advanced level. or (b) Completion of BTF4900 (Research report) (12 points) and six units (36 points) from the units listed in (a) above, except BTF4310.
