Synopsis: This unit draws on the academic literature to provide a study of a range of topics relating to banking and finance including the theory of financial intermediation, risk management and bank regulation.

Assessment: Assignment (4000 words): 40% + Examination (2 hours): 60%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week

Prerequisites: Acceptance for enrolment in the BBus(Hons) program
