The aim of the course is to enable students to broaden their business knowledge and increase understanding of accounting-related matters. It allows students to take a substantial number, but not all of the units needed to meet the academic requirements for admission as an associate member of CPA Australia program and entry to the CA program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. As such, it suits potential students who already meet some of the requirements of these professional bodies, but not all.
