Course description

This course offers a preliminary year of study in preparation for the Master of Arts 100% research course offered at the Malaysian campus of Monash. This course is designed for students with a bachelors degree who want to expand and deepen their knowledge in one or more chosen areas by undertaking coursework and a research project.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a pass degree at credit level or above in the relevant discipline.

Course structure

Students complete 48 points, including ASM4000 (Research project), COM4010 (Communication research: issues and methodology), COM4020 (Communication applied: industry practice) and one additional level 4 unit chosen from the following and selected in accordance with the student’s research project. Alternative units may be taken with the approval of the school graduate coordinator.
