Clayton First semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: This unit examines the strategic roles of human resource development in organisations: training; management and career development; and organisational development. Theories and factors affecting training outcomes; and economic, ethical, legal and financial considerations are considered also.
Assessment: Written assignments and presentations: 50% + Examination (2 hours): 50%
Contact Hours: Two 1-hour lectures per week and 1-hour tutorial per week
