Peninsula First semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Network performance studies, indicators of network performance, analytical modeling of networks and queing theory, protocol overheads and network performance -- TCP/IP performance features, where and how to insure performance of networks. Network performance in distributed systems. Measuring performance using SNMP. Network performance tools.
Assessment: Lab exercises: 10%, Assignment: 30%, Exam 60%.
