Synopsis: This unit provides opportunities to gain experience in the use of a modern visual interactive modelling system. Topics presented include the nature of managerial work, different ways people have of acquiring and processing information and simulation model development and validation.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 70% + Practical work: 30% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the unit

Contact Hours: One 2-hour lecture and one 1-hour laboratory per week

Prerequisites: BUS9520 or equivalent
