Course description

This course provides a general introduction to professional health sciences for students interested in pursuing careers in disciplines such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and social work.
The course will encompass four themes:

The course is being offered in three streams (physiotherapy, occupational therapy and health sciences/social work) that differ in their relative emphasis on biomedical and social sciences.

Physiotherapy or occupational therapy stream

Students enrolled in the physiotherapy or occupational therapy stream are required to complete the following units.

Second semester
Health sciences/social work stream

Students enrolled in the health sciences/social work stream are required to complete the following units.

First semester
Second semester
