Course description

This course provides students with the skills required to participate in the information age combined with the broad teaching and learning objectives of the Bachelor of Arts degree. The BA asks of students that they satisfy the requirements of study within the very wide range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences and communications offered by the faculty, and of some disciplines offered by other faculties. Students are encouraged to grasp the opportunity provided by undertaking a Bachelor of Arts to develop their imaginations and gain a broad understanding of the new ideas and values with which they will be challenged. The information systems component has a strong practical focus that enables students to develop real systems, products and services in studios specially designed for `learning by doing'.
