Course description

The overall objective of the course, offered through the Monash Institute of Health Services Research, is for students to gain an understanding of the history, concepts, collection and implementation of evidence-based practice and why it is important. On completion of this course, it is expected that the graduates will be:

Entry requirements

The course is open to graduates with a three-year degree or a diploma with a major in a health-related area. Consideration will also be given to applicants with substantial experience and/or professionally relevant qualifications and who are currently employed in a health-related position.

Course structure

The course is offered part-time over 12 months, entirely by off-campus learning. Attendance is not required.

Assessment consists of written assignments.
