Course description

This course is designed to meet the needs and interests of teachers in a number of education sectors and systems, particularly level 1 teachers, leading level 2 and 3 teachers and assistant principals currently employed in primary and secondary schools who aspire to school principal appointments.

Research thesis

The research core unit is a corequisite for the research thesis. It may be taken concurrently with the research thesis or completed prior to the commencement of the research thesis.


Note that students entering the course having completed Faculty of Education designed and delivered certificate programs may be granted up to 24 points of recognised prior learning (RPL). Such students will normally complete the three core units and the professional project.
