Course description

This course is designed for professionals working in a range of human service and corporate sector organisations who wish to gain a broad organisational qualification in mentoring and coaching. This program is offered as part of the suite of work, learning and leadership programs offered by the Faculty of Education.

Entry requirememts

To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold either:

Negotiations for formal articulation arrangements may include provision for the admission of enrolment cohorts with `equivalent' qualifications or experience. Students admitted under this provision are likely to possess a number of workplace-based training qualifications.

Course outline

Students are required to successfully complete 48 credit points comprising four 12-point units (consisting of two core and two elective units):

Two coursework elective units - taken from an area of study such as counselling, organisational leadership, work and learning that would extend mentoring and coaching capabilities in a particular field.

Exit point

Students may choose to exit the course with a Postgraduate Certificate in Mentoring and Coaching, provided they have met all the requirements for the degree.
