This double-degree course aims to provide education and training in methods used in analysis, design, development and application of computer systems to the management of business operations. This involves the study of business-related techniques, practices and procedures leading to an understanding of the application of computer systems and information technology for business purposes.

For future years of the course, Monash University reserves the right to adjust
annual tuition fees. However, Monash University undertakes that any adjustment
factor will not exceed 10% per annum.
(a) Students must complete 10 core units (60 credit points):

credit points) from the Master of Business Systems as follows:
(i) Two core units (12 credit points)
(ii) Six graduate units (36 credit
points) coded BUS from the Faculty of Information Technology.
(iii) Two graduate units (12 credit points) from the Faculty of Information
Technology.
Students would normally complete the 10 core units before undertaking electives
as part of the Master of Business Systems program.
