This
course has been designed as an interactive field of study providing a close
association with industry using applied cooperative teaching by both academics
and industry practitioners. It is targeted at professional bankers and
corporate treasurers seeking to invigorate and extend their managerial and
leadership capacity and effectiveness.
The course is accredited by the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance,
and provided the required units are completed successfully, graduates will
qualify for senior associate membership status.
Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution plus a minimum of three years relevant employment experience.
Candidates may be eligible for advanced standing for a maximum of five credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular requirements in the course of study.
(a) Students must complete five core units (30 credit points)
(b) Students must complete five units (30 credit points) at 4000 and 5000 level from the Department of Accounting and Finance, in a finance discipline, subject to approval by the Course Director.
