Course description

This course offers students from varied backgrounds the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive, multidisciplinary preparation for management roles in corporations, inter-governmental organisations and non-profit agencies. It provides a sound general knowledge of the international business environment and applies management theory and practice for the development of managerial competencies in a cross-cultural context.

Course structure

(a) Students must complete four core units (24 credit points):

(ii) units listed in (i) above and unit/s taught by the Department of Management providing the selection meets overall course objectives and receives program coordinator approval.
Students should complete four 9000-level units before commencing 5000-level units.
Students who complete the Graduate Diploma in International Business, including successful studies in two masters 5000-level units from the Department of Management, will be able to articulate directly into one of the Department of Management's masters courses. To complete a masters course, students will be required to complete a further four masters-5000-level units.

* Students who have not completed undergraduate degrees in business are strongly encouraged to complete these units.
