Synopsis:

Objectives: On completion of this unit, students will: 1.understand the range of issues in the management of a design studio as a small business; 2.understand a range of systems, including computer systems for small business administration; 3.be able to develop a basic conceptual plan for the management of a design studio.

Assessment: Class paper:50% + Written report:50%

Contact Hours: 2 taught hours and 4 independent study hours per week
