Project planning and research for visual communication (3 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: On successful completion of this unit, students will: 1.analyse the issues in a range of visual communication projects; 2.identify key issue/options that are likely to affect the outcome of the project; 3.develop strategies for undertaking research and design for projects; 4.select the appropriate research methods; select appropriate design and communication methods; 5.undertake computer-based scheduling of the management of the design project and its implementation.

Assessment: Major assignments: 100%.

Contact Hours: 2 lecture/seminar hours and 4 hours independent study per week
