This course caters for health care professionals working within the mental health and psychiatric disability fields who wish to upgrade and develop their practice in modern community mental health care.
Applicants must have a bachelors degree with major studies in psychiatry, medicine, psychology, nursing, social work, physiotherapy, occupational therapy or other allied health-related discipline.
The course is offered on-campus and via off-campus learning; over four semesters part-time, it is not offered on a full-time basis. The first year of the course has four units focusing on the following areas:
