Synopsis:

Objectives: Upon completion of this subject, student will have: Gained a basic background in geriatric mental health; Developed a knowledge of recent developments in this area; Become familiar with service delivery, examining treatment and management issues in the mental health of the elderly; Developed an understanding of research findings in the literature.

Assessment: Study journal (30%) + Written assessment approx. 4,000 words (70%)
