General course information

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Management) course is designed primarily for graduates who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in management theory and practice. The course is appropriate for existing or prospective managers who can demonstrate the appropriate level of academic competence.

Course structure

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Management) consists of two core units and two elective units normally taken over one year of study as follows:

Two elective units, subject to approval from the course director. Candidates should be aware of the compulsory unit requirements of the Graduate Diploma of Business (Management) and the Master of Business Management when selecting elective units, should future articulation into these courses be a consideration.

Articulation

Completion of the Graduate Certificate of Business (Management) will allow direct entry into the Graduate Diploma of Business (Management) and the Master of Business Management.
