Synopsis: Advanced conversation and composition, as well as study of cultural developments in Ukraine from the 1910s to the 1950s, with emphasis on Mykola Khvyl'ovyi and his school.

Assessment: Examination (1.5 hours): 40% + Language weekly homework (1000 words): 20% + Tutorial paper: 10% + Essay (1500 words): 30%

Contact Hours: 3 hours (1 x lecture and 2 x tutorials) per week
