SCW3303Insights Into Practice (12 points)(ARTS) Leader: Debra Manning/Margaret Lynn/Chris Laming
Offered: Synopsis: This unit consists of a selection of modules, each of which focuses on theory and research pertaining to a major field of social welfare practice. All modules include the ethical and legal dimensions of practice. Students will select two modules from a choice of Anti-racist practice, Disability, Child Protection or Violence against Women to research in-depth. Assessment: Module 1 assignment (4,500 words): 50% + Module 2 assignment (4,500 words): 50% Contact Hours: 3 hours per week Prerequisites: SCW2303 and either SCW2304 or SCW2310 Prohibitions: GSC3303 |
