PRM1431Printmedia practice and theory 1B (6 points)(A&D) Leader: To be advised
Offered: Synopsis: Students will explore a range of methods and materials for print media, including etching, relief, collagraph and silkscreen, with a particular emphasis on the safe handling of all tools and equipment so that these materials can be used as a sophisticated means of expression in the visual arts. Assessment: Folio 100% including a mid-semester assessment contributing at least 20% of the final mark. Contact Hours: 6 points + 12 hours comprising 4 studio hours and 8 independent study hours per week + First semester, Caulfield + Prerequisites: Enrolment in undergraduate Art & Design Degrees + Corequisites: OHS1000 + Prohibited combinations: FNA1501 and FNA1503 + Non faculty of Art & Design students will require Departmental permission to enroll.
