Project planning and development for multimedia (3 points)

Synopsis: This unit aims to give students an outline of the basic business skills which are needed to maintain a career in the multimedia industry, and to manage and run a multimedia design business. It provides students with a broad overview of the nature of the multimedia industry and the sort of companies which occupy it. It teaches students about project planning and management in relation to multimedia design practice.

Assessment: Major project: 50% + Exercises: 30% + Journal: 20%

Contact Hours: 2 class hours and 6 independent study hours

Prerequisites: PPR1103
